“ It's a nice Mexican restaurant. The service is friendly. The food was good. The portions are good sizes. ”

“ When I walked in, I immediately loved the atmosphere! And the food was delicious! The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the salsa. It was to much of a tomato taste and not enough spice for me. But, gosh! The food was GREAT! ”
“ So tonight was the first night I've eaten at El Mariachi and I gotta say I wish I'd come sooner. We ordered 2 different fajitas, got a fresh guacamole (Which truly blew me away, easily the best fresh guac in Evansville. Period.) And I had a line margarita and we only paid 42 for the entire meal. We were told that management of the restaurant has recently changed, and although I don't know what it used to be like it is awesome now. Flavors were great, service was fast and the price can't be beat. ”

“ I was on the east side craving some tacos today so I stopped by El Mariachi Mexican Restaurant Evansville. My normal spot was closed today unfortunately. That being said, I was very impressed with their Tacos and overall ambience. By the way in Los Angeles do you know what we call street tacos? Tacos! Lol. So I had their Asada, Al Pastor and Carnitas. All super flavorful. I really really liked their Carnitas. Even their rice and beans were fantastico. You would be surprised how many Mexican places I’ve been to in Evansville, where their rice and beans were flavorless. I mean how do you mess up rice and beans? Anyways... this is my second time trying them and wow. Impressed. Even their salsa for the chips was thick. I get tired of places serving tomato sauce water. And I didn’t even have to ask for chunky salsa to get it. lol. As for full service full bar Mexican restaurants this place was really good. They have definitely earned a spot on my top six list of best Mexican restaurants in town. New owners, new management. Also there is a fun bar vibe with all the bar games, pool tables ect. Give them a try! ”
